Finish this sentence, the worst thing about Newcastle United's defeat to Sunderland was _

Wasting Isak’s fee on Elanga and Ramsay. Awful signings.

Newcastle made two disastrous signings, Elanga and Ramsey, this after selling Anderson to Nottingham Forest for a pittance. If Howe continues to make selection and substitution mistakes I can see him going out of the door.

Has your feelings on Howe changed drastically since the derby?

tom.procter9mo ago

Just seemed to play with fear

james.rutherford9mo ago

My thoughts exactly. We looked scared and gave them far too much respect.

Anthony Elanga. A completely different player to the one that played for Forest last season.

james.rutherford9mo ago

Absolutely shocking. Never should have started. £55m on him looks worse and worse with each performance.

The lack of effort

james.rutherford9mo ago

Embarrassing wasn't it.

james.brooke9mo ago

The Sunderland celebrations. Cringe-inducing.

james.rutherford9mo ago

Hey, we'd have been the same. They simply wanted it more.

peter.lynch9mo ago

The fact Woltemade scored a superb goal... in the wrong net!

jordan.harris9mo ago

the lack of pride in the performance! Shameful

james.rutherford9mo ago

the manner of it. Losing is never nice, but you can take it on the chin if there's a bit of fight. There was none of that. It was embarrassing.

This can be the only take! If they can't turn up against their biggest rivals in a first Premier League derby in 10 years then they never will. Humiliating.
