Is €500k a fair minimum salary for MotoGP riders?

E1,000,000 for the risks the racers take seem more appropriate JMO.

I think it's fair. Some riders will welcome a pay rise, while it might be an issue for satellite teams whose budgets are limited compared to the factories

A number of riders would certainly welcome the pay rise, but a minimum wage could cause problems for a few of the independent teams unless they (and/or their riders) can find new sponsors to help with the increase in expenditure.

They're basically risking their lives week in and week out for our entertainment. I think it's fair, maybe even a little low...
