People knew who Valentino Rossi was even if there didn't watch or care about MotoGP, so his time at Yamaha certainly stands out. But Marc Marquez and Honda was a combo that obliterated everyone in the 2010s

It is almost impossible to pick between Valentino Rossi and Yamaha or Marc Marquez and Honda in the MotoGP era, or the dominance that Giacomo Agostini and MV Agusta enjoyed during the old 350cc and 500cc eras.

If you ask someone who likes motorsport but doesn't watch MotoGP, they'd say Rossi/Yamaha. I think that's your answer.
