Iceman & Shamrock

Bas Rutten, Fedor Emelianenko and Randy Couture. I think they'd beat any HW of today. And Randy was the first to hold two ufc belts, not Conor.

Chris “the crippler” Leban

Randy Couture by a country mile. Also, Chuck Liddell. As for Tito Ortiz? Parents use him as an example of why their kids needn't be afraid of clowns.

Randy was so good. What he did at heavyweight as well, incredible.

First event I watched live was headlined by Jon Jones, so I guess he played a big role

Chuck. I remember sneakily watching the UFC around the door when I should’ve been in bed and my brother was watching it.

It was the first true mixed martial artist of all time, "The legend" Frank Shamrock. He was a legend and it's SO crazy how Dana White erased his name from MMA history.

So true. Was there a fight in particular that grabbed you?

GSP

For me, it was Brock Lesnar. Big WWE fan as a kid and then someone said Brock was having a real fight. Once I watched that I never looked back.

It was Chris Leben for me

Something akin to that, anyone remember Drew McFedries?

What fight was it - he had so many bangers.

Victor"The Phenom" Belfort became the youngest UFC ever to win it at 19 when there was no weight class & he won it by chopping down a towering & over weight opponent called the Polar Bear....after that magnificent win I was hooked on MMA(UFC)!!

Anderson Silva

Conor McGregor. You’re not supposed to say it these days, but that is the correct answer for 90% of fans

Funnily enough, it's the guy pictured above. 'The Iceman'. I watched him knock out Ortiz when I was probably too young to be watching the UFC.
