Is Michael Carrick the right man? United have only won one of the last four games...

United fans are one of the best, and in same time one of the worst. Football today, and before, for the elite manager is psihologic. Anceloti say i one moment "what to say to Ibrahimovic, how to play football ?No, it is elite plyer, and my job is to make him motivated in every game." If u have player group witch belive in u, u are already done great.

and yes, Carick is the right man. I am sure, if Carick stay, we will fight for title next season. I see that 100%

I do place a lot of importance on a manager who understands the pressure of playing for United, a la Zidane at Real. Amorim always seemed to underestimate that

With what he has done so far i believe with the backing of INEOS and the entire Manchester United board, he is the right man for the job. Thanks.

Which players in the summer transfer window do you think will truly prove that Ineos back Carrick?

There will be bumps along the way, but Carrick is looking like the man for the job:

Carrick's style is not possession its defend, get the ball to Bruno & strikers take your chances. Its not pretty & doesnt rely on stats, its simply win. People who think he have played badly since game 2 dont really see tactics. He has done exceptionally well & if any of the managers they dream of taking over had the same performances they would be all ππΏ

Yes, we've been robbed across all this run. Goals and penalties not given or ruled out incorrectly, incorrect red cards. And the squad is so thin. And we are third with a squad the previous supposed top manager couldn't get any tune from. Keep Carrick, fix the squad.

For me, Carrick is ahead of the Iraola, Glasner types but still behind Enrique, Nagelsmann etc. Top of the B-list

Exactly

I fear Nagelsmann is another Ten Hag / Slot / Amorim. I mean, he got sacked half way through a season by Bayern after getting knocked out in CL quarters. He doesn't have a great record either. Luis Enrique will stay at PSG too.

Give him a chance and see what's capable

I believe in him.

Some people believe in God but he's never won a PL title! π

Michael is the right man. When luck is not on his side, he is to be supported, encouraged to do better, learn from the loss. For me he's promising. I could see the fierce fight of the players when they were one man down against Leeds. They reminded me of the Fergie time.
richmatt225mo ago
Er fierce fight from the team when down to 10 men and 2 nil down against your bitter rivals! Would have been nice to see the fire rising from the first minute rather than with 20 mins left! π€¦π»ββοΈ
richmatt225mo ago
Just a pity we showed absolutely no fight or execution of a game until we were 2 nil down and a man down after a 3 week rest. So poor. Not the result but the lack of performance. Against a fierce rival that first hour was nothing short of a disgrace and Carrick sent the same 11 out for the second half!!! π€·π»ββοΈπ€¦π»ββοΈ

Yes he is a right man the players that like playing for him. MU is not typical club to be a manager, as you can see for the last 10 years or so. I guaranty you with the right player signed over the summer, We will win the league with Michael.
richmatt225mo ago
Err unfortunately I can guarantee you that even if we sign 1 good player in the summer we won't be winning the league with INEOS or Carrick. Do you think, with our squad we will even get top 4 with CL football to play as well? π€π
