If you were Marc Marquez, when would you retire?

asaaristo1996mo ago

Retire now before you hurt some other rider or yourself. You have nothing more to prove in your racing career.

I think he wants that eighth title, and to try the new bikes in 2027, hence why he wants a one-year deal from Ducati. After that, I think he'll stop.

Marc won’t have the benefit of knowing what happens when he gets a lot older with all the horrific injuries he’s so far endured, so I would imagine he’s after going on until his body says no more & thinking the warmer climate will help with what happens next, I’m of an age where I now suffer badly from breaks & fractures so this is what I’m talking about..

I don't think Marc is fully recovered from the blow that Bezz, dealt him, so for me it's a hollow and unfair win for Bezz, it's because of him Marc is not his best.

This was only one race duucai and MM93 will be stronger than ever marc will not retire just yet

Marc has previously said he'll retire when he's no longer one of the top riders - that's the right call. Hard to put a timescale on it

2026 sounds good. 9 world championship title is already an achievement. Future family awaits, financial stability achieved. He already have everything. It's time to enjoy it.

Unless Ducati can convince Marc Marquez that they will have a title-winning bike under the 2027 MotoGP regulations, anything but the riders' title this year may be enough for Marquez to consider retiring.
