Manchester United over achieved last season from the middle of January onwards, this has clearly had a detrimental effect on Carrick so far this season with ridiculous calls for him to go, what would success look like this season now?

I couldnt understand MUFCGRW why every1 felt we had am EPLwinning side. Or support thinking debt was paid down and we had £250 mill to spend on plyrs? I dont think we were lucky last season, carrick has changed tactics need to go backto them ,(carrick being pressured to play a certain way to appease sir micro management?)

Still positive me - look at how last season started and how it finished….

City and Arsenal aside I don’t think there are a lot of good teams in the league. Third spot is there for the taking, everyone else has flaws

Agree 100% regards CL qualification, think thoughts of a title challenge are wide of the mark, going deep into the cup tournaments would be a bonus

I’ve always felt that if we can start a season fast, belief picks up from there. How we turned it around in 06/07. Not the case this year…

I don’t think it was unreasonable to have aspirations for a title challenge heading into the year - even if we all had doubts due to summer business. Right to have hope. Clearly we didn’t expect that realism to hit after just four league games. The most realistic target probably hasn’t changed - secure CL qualification for a second year and win a trophy

Hard to go when Rathcliffe had no intention to geta left back and Carrick refuses to play Sesko and Santos and keep Cuhna as a want to be striker

My sentiments exactly Dan UCLqual and if we pick up an FAC or ELC but I think thats the plan 4 2-3 seasons. Bring in much needed revenue hopefully SJR will make sure 60 sticky fingers are kept at bay. Mind you he never said nmuch about a refinance that included £125 million extra debt
