City win the game 1-0... What is your INSTANT REACTION?
What can United take from this game? So frustrating...
nashtims2w ago
I have had time to think so not an instant reaction. MU were poor, the allowed goal was a poor decision, a lot went wrong. My question though: Playing at home, Why were we so passive?
edvinbakiri22atc2w ago
I think Dorgu was a disaster. Very poor defending and didn't looked well in attacking role. He succeeded only 2 or 3 crosses an all of them were through in the middle of the City defence without purpose or intent of reaching his teammates. The rest of crosses were intercepted. His pass was and still remain poor.
barryroberts722w ago
Yep i agree with that also Dalot had the worst game ever, mistake after mistake, Maguire had a good game hardly a mistake made, he kept Haaland quiet until Martinez took over and he scored. Why was Dorgu in the right back position? where was Dalot?
davecarey282w ago
It was a shambles, harping on about the city goal is not the issue. City had 10 men and we still could not beat them. Lots of negatives to worry about.
dancoombs2w ago
Fair comment. We looked lost in attack and couldn’t get the momentum going. Not enough incisive play from the wings/full-backs
caleb.sage3w ago
Midfield worries me. Anderson and Fernandez were great on the ball but shouldn’t be having so much control playing in a team that’s a man down 🤦♂️
geldroper2w ago
Santos should have been there but I guess Carrick doesn't like him either just as he hates Sesko
hawkishness3w ago
…including the coach.
hawkishness3w ago
Worst Utd player: Dorgu. Next worst: Mbeumo/Cunha. Next: Fernandes. Unfort., this could go on until the end. NO CL future here - mark my words…painful but true.
dancoombs3w ago
I agree Dorgu was very poor, I wasn’t impressed by Dalot either. Rashford is lacking a cutting edge
camerondesc13w ago
Awful. No creativity. Hardly created any chances, Carrick will be under pressure soon.
barryroberts723w ago
Rubbish game today we were stand offish just walking around the pitch why don't we ever get stuck in, i have never seen a Utd team where the opposition have the ball so much and we don't even attempt to get the ball we just stand there all the time waiting for them to lose it, rather than we win it back every game drives me mad.
jakonydan7703w ago
That's Same as I watched the players lack dedication to maintain and press on the ball to score
pranav.shahaney3w ago
While the goal being given a total farce, we cannot ignore how poor this United performance was. Could not create anything against 10 men. It cannot be down to poor recruitment. Carrick has got to show he’s the right one for the job
rbrown0806502w ago
Some of it IS poor recruitnent. Sometimes you get what you pay for in the transfer market and in the case of a L/B, you end up with no cover as our ONLY senior L/B is injured.
knightinwhitesatin3w ago
We're 1-0 down with 30 minutes to go why no substitutes like Sesko or Lacey used to try to at least get a draw what's going on??
bernadette.khoshaba3w ago
Regardless of the disallowed goal...are you forgetting United could not score....why are you not talking about the lack of finishing and kess focus on disallowed goal or not
bernadette.khoshaba3w ago
Useless...clearly this team lacks the quality to compete for any title let alone finishing in the top four...I can't see how Carrick turns this around
stephenjholmes13w ago
I actually think the team is good enough. The problem is the decision making both in the starting 11, and in game management. Why didn't Sesko start the 2nd half? Why was he brought on for a midfielder? Why do all of our defenders think they are centre forwards? Go back to 4-4-2 and start with positional awareness. Clean sheets mean you don't loose!
4three5seven9four3w ago
city player was interfering with play ,,! plain & ???? simple even a reff commented on it,,! ?..
gls4manu3w ago
This is another disaster. Two weeks in a row we had the opportunity to end the day in the top 5. However we failed miserably against 10 men.
dancoombs3w ago
Should have beaten both. Got to win at Fulham next week no excuses
kyle.dimond3w ago
Bruno should have got the same punishment as Foden but thought the game management from United was really poor. They were better at playing against 11 men
stephenjholmes13w ago
It amazes me how much more knowledgeable supporters are than ex-players and referees. They all said the same. But you know better. See you on Sky-Sports soon👍
4three5seven9four3w ago
city supporters only see 1, side,? not a goal,,!
amirmir3w ago
Foden SHOULDN'T have been sent off. The goal SHOULDN'T have stood. Saying that, United's open play performance vs ten men when they have so many ball players on the park is worrying. Carrick's coaching in-game was very poor too.
barryroberts723w ago
I agree that Foden shouldn't have got a Red Card but by the law of the game he kicked out with both feet which is a Red Card, having said that Bruno should have got a Yellow at least. As for the goal, you can see Fernandez go for the ball which the law says he's off side, it put off Martinez and if you look closely Lammens dives for it.
dancoombs3w ago
City defended well but we didn’t create enough. Mbeumo should have scored at the end and we hit the post twice, just frustrating
stephenjholmes13w ago
What has gone wrong so early in the new season? City go down to 10 men, and so when Sesko is brought on its for a midfielder. Having so many players in such a tight space makes it impossible to break the back line with smart passing. All of the good work since Christmas is being destroyed. I believe Steve Holland is the problem. It's like England under Sout
geldroper3w ago
Sadly Carrick is not the coach we thought he was. Sesko in midfield and Santos sitting. What is he thinking
daviescallum423w ago
Going to be a long old season for United I think 👀
geldroper3w ago
Clear bad coaching. Carrick's baby Cuhna can do nothing wrong. Was not there in the whole game. Var did his job in deciding the game.
daviescallum423w ago
Carrick clueless, will always get outcoached by better managers
peter.lynch3w ago
I still don’t get that offside decision, no matter how many times I watch, bizarre 🤯
geldroper3w ago
This all wouldn't have happend after the soft pass from Dorgu and him being on the wrong side of the field. Clearle do not know what a left back means
adnan.riaz3w ago
It's nonsense. Watch as they apologise about it tomorrow.
adnan.riaz3w ago
Never felt more dejected by a recent result for United. We were screwed by that ref call.
jamie.theodosi3w ago
How can you possibly say this when Fernandes got away with not being sent off? And it wasn’t actually offside as they showed
jordan.harris3w ago
Two rubbish decisions, one for each team. Fair play City they were excellent with 10 men
geldroper3w ago
What the hell was Dorgu on the wrong side of the field
adnan.riaz3w ago
United were screwed out of there one.
seanfisher3w ago
Complete farce. Beaten by the ref today 👍
adnan.riaz3w ago
Spot on. That ref decision was so BAD.
jamie.theodosi3w ago
The ref did you a favour by unfairly sending their player off. And the ‘offside’ as they showed, he was played on by Dorgu’s foot. United were just miles off it, fairly beaten by 10 men
chillout3w ago
Take a shower or an opponent’s shirt ?
gijonfabio3w ago
I said it I don't see us winning the game .
adnan.riaz3w ago

dancoombs3w ago
Raging about this. We should have scored etc etc but JOKE of a decision for the goal. We will be fine this season but need to get wins on the board
markmarston3w ago
Oh yeah Enzo decision is a disgrace… just hearing them break it down now. That’s a horrible horrible call. Deary me
markmarston3w ago
Concerning start to the season for United…
adnan.riaz3w ago
It's been so frustrating.
