Already an apology… but what good does that do us… 😡😡 A point down while City take all three for an incident that was categorically wrong. There has to be more accountability… but how should the FA, PGMOL and Pro Ref make it right to United? 🤔

This is very embarrassing.

That’s football. There have been far greater injustices, but it’s part of the game.

Yeah I agree, it’s terrible, it was a bad decision, but every team has suffered big injustices. Rules shouldn’t change just cos it finally happened to United

The point of VAR is that there are not glaring errors. That’s how it should be anyway. Clearly they are too incompetent to apply the rules

The only way to redeem it without giving points back (which wouldn’t work) is to take a goal off city in the reverse fixture… in these very rare situations, the goal should be deducted in the next fixture

Sets a dangerous precedent though if we start changing results based on bad refereeing decision. We’d be re-reffing every game cos there’s normally at least a howler every other match

Aint gonna happen.

Honestly, I think apologies might even make it worse. How do they make this job look so difficult, incompetent doesn’t even begin to describe it

There apology came after they got what they wanted in City's win. That was the whole plan and Olivers red card had to be fixed to make sure they won. Not to mention that,JES, we played like school kids emberrasing

Agreed, almost better saying nothing. It’s just not right, everyone else could see it but the supposed experts missed the glaring detail! Yet they’ll all be overseeing another club’s fate next weekend
dancoombs3w ago
There is no making it right it is too late
