Have YOU forgiven Rio Ferdinand for his move to Manchester United? 🤔

Not sure there's much to forgive to be honest. Do I like Rio Ferdinand? No - but that's not the question. But Leeds made a profit on the deal and he got the move he wanted.

That’s it. If he’d made that move to Liverpool, would probably be looked back on completely differently. For us was an incredible player, it’s crazy how a single move can change a fans perception on a player. Ala Mr Judas.

From purely a financial perspective, this deal was one of the few successes of that era. But as an individual, no. He doesn't seem to have much affection for the club, and the feeling is definitely mutual.

Agree with the financial side, there’s no doubting it changed the game. But as a person, he’s an awful bloke.

Hardly shown himself to be a great character, not even with things relating to Leeds.

No. He's got no fondness for Leeds, he doesn't want the club to do well, and his allegiances are obviously with Manchester United. As far as I'm concerned he's a Man U player who happened to spend a couple seasons as Leeds.

Fully agree, he’s shown his true colours in the years since. For him to act oblivious and not know what was so wrong about what he did tells you everything.

I agree

Definately not. Many Leeds still feel he jumped ship at the first time of trouble, and was only ever looking out for no.1. Which in most cases is understandable, but it's the fact that ever since he doesn't seem to know why Leeds fans dislike him. what he did that was wrong.
