Hull City fans must be on cloud 9. They were surprised that their club got promoted last term, and now have started the season with two spirited wins. But we have seen this movie before; but could Hull do what seemed impossible, and actually stay up this season ?

Occurred to me on Saturday that they probably only need, say, nine wins and three draws from their remaining 36 games to stay up. Sounds easy enough when you put it like that 🤣

Don’t think it seemed impossible that they’d stay up, but let’s calm down a bit here. United win was impressive, but they’ve just done what they were doing for much of last season and beaten a Championship side. Bigger tests to come, but they could stay up, why not

Hull have an incredible manager. I’ve been banging on about him for a while. Don’t underestimate him. He achieved promotion with a squad tipped to go down after spending around £75k in the summer! He’s a perennial overachiever. Hull will stay up

Some really hard games coming up, assuming Villa recover a bit. Great start and if they can get a few more points before the international break, they have a real chance

They have really surprised me so far, but having watched them on Saturday I still think they will end up in the bottom three…

A lotttt of football to be played between now and the end of the season, but why not? They are stepping up when other clubs aren’t, I think people don’t realise how crucial a good start is 👊

Promotion momentum is very real! They CAN stay up, but gotta keep the vibes rolling until the dog days of the season
