The formation was bad. Who plays libero instead of Rice. Merino injured. Havert can't can't sweep either. You saw him contesting for goal rather than creating goal. ..Dowman was poor against southampton..take it or not . How many threatening crosses or passes at the right time did he made. ..The 4 backline are naturally overlapping guys with no leader.

I think he was trying to give a breather to our main boys, particularly in defence, which would maybe explain why we started with 3 at the back? To put our performance down to the team Mikel selected is disrespectful to Mansfield who were brilliant.
