Such promising signs Pete. I agree about the tracking back, maybe he could have followed Shaw better on United's second goal. But he did snuff out one United attack earlier on when they tried playing Mbeumo through after Myko hesitated. I'm sure he'll get there with it!

Maybe Moysie wants to ensure he stays fit, so he can come on & change a game. As Jack lacks the pace of our other wide players, maybe bringing him on when the opposition full backs are knackered would pay dividends? Just a thought?

Was a bit disappointed to hear Moyes say that. Grealish looked great when he came on didn’t he, and he played a couple of times for City. But at least George is playing as well as he is, not a bad alternative for the left

I think Hayden is an absolute superb signing, can't wait to see more of him! And George and Dibling, if we had a clinical striker, we would do some serious damage in the PL! We'd be top if Barry had put his chances away to put it into perspective!!!

Not wishing to demean all the effort from the whole team for 90 minutes but the difference when Grealish and Hackney came on increased our midfield effectiveness. Prior to that, United were finding too much space between the lines. KDH was brilliant except someone must have stolen his shooting boots. Barry is starting to look like he's a footballer.

While Jack is getting plaudits, I thought Hayden changed the pace of the game when he came on. Drove forward, passed forward, & generally added purpose to our play. Deserves equal credit.

Yeah definitely, I'd start George on the left and Brennan on right, see where we are at half-time, if Brennan is a bit average then I'd bring Jack on & George switches to the right! Even if Barry is average I'd put Brennan up front! Trying to fit everyone in ha-ha 😉

Was the full backs at fault today, Myka is by Mbuemo then tracks him but doesn't get a block in before he shoots. Regards Cafu sorry Maitland he's only been at the club a few days just didn't quite manage to get a block in, I don't think Nathan or Rohl would have either, BUT 95 mins and rocket time, what a goal. 😉💙⚽

I disagree Moyes needed ht to tell them this is too pedestrian and slow. The pace picked up 2nd half & we took the game to Man U, the subs worked well too! Kudos to Moyes for a change!!!

Grealish MOTM for me… that cameo was absolutely phenomenal. Gave us so much poise in the final third… every pass was perfectly weighted and opened United up. The type of player he makes others around him better. Super Jack 💙
