Good to hear, excited to see what he can really do with a run in the team. Would love to see him start a few games now, let Rohl maybe even have a run in midfield

Don't put him upfront, he got opportunity and scored with it because he wasn't upfront. Reminded me a bit of that goal (probably his last one) that Phil Neville blazed in for Everton when it came back out from goal area, hell of a shot, just like Maitland Niles one.

Barry did fine with the limited chances he had, holds the ball up and links well. Looks confident, will do great for us this season

I thought Barry did ok today. They seemed to have a pattern of play with him getting ball to feet, George coming inside across the pitch and I’m guessing springing Johnson, nearly came off. Not sure if they’re generally working on hoofing it less to him. His header wasn’t straightforward.
