She will be out 1st round if she plays or have a medical timeout during the match due to the heat and then retire.

Definitely not a bad performance, but came up against an in-form player full of confidence. Raducanu definitely could do with lowering the number of double faults, but it is unsurprising that there is some rustiness after so long away from the tour!

A good performance. Far from spectacular but no surprise considering she hasn't played for two months. Fans need to give her time to re-adjust to clay.

Plenty to take confidence from given her break, a battling display was perhaps more important than a win right now
