What do YOU make of Newcastle's decision to keep Eddie Howe? 🤔

I thought a change could be good,I think most managers have a shelf live.I don’t understand much of there thinking re transfers,which I presume Eddie is equally in charge?

I was surprised he wasn’t sacked and I feel like it’s going to happen in October and Newcastle are back to square one. Who would your choice have been?

I think he’s gone by October. If they want change, they have to do it in the summer and not waste three months of a season

My biggest gripe with Howe is its all high intensity which long term is unsustainable and once drops even slightly we look a very poor team incapable of keeping possession of a football. Next season will be better because no Europe (and a new low benchmark) but once back in Europe then deja vu. Owners are obviously indifferent otherwise they would act.

He’s from the Brendan Rodgers school of management. Talks a good game and clearly thinks a lot of himself but is too stubborn to admit that things are going wrong

Im pleased there is some clarity now. I think next season Eddie has to show more of a plan B just like he on Saturday when Brighton pulled a goal back. If he hadn't gone to 3 centre halves we would have lost that game as we were under the cosh. What I cannot phathom is why on earth has he not started games this way with 3 centre halves like Barca. Arsenal

Yeah, I'm with you. Pleased a decision has been "made" but Howe does need to show he's not a one-trick pony. Would you line up that way vs Forest?
