Really sad to hear the news about Kevin Keegan - a real legend! They don’t make them like that now. He was always a fighter, so keep our fingers crossed for him.

Immortalised with his quote. It might have aged poorly, but spoke volumes about his steely mentality. A legend of the game

Well loved by everyone in the football community. A fantastic player, turned his side into a team remembered as the ‘entertainers’ and a pioneer of the great game. Sending love to him and his family

Such a brilliant character in football! terrible news, wishing him all the best

True legend of the game. Someone fans of every club can respect surely. Former Fulham manager too and a key part of our history in many ways

Echo this. Really hope he manages to beat it and return to full health 🙏🏼

One thing the game lacks now is characters and King Kev will never be matched in that sense. A maverick as a player and a superb manager to boot. Thoughts with Kev and his family.
