← Eddie Howe

An absolute legend but there's no coming back from this...

craig1990cd5mo ago

700 million spent on players just to end up as bad as a Steve Bruce or Steve McLaren team and mishandling the ones who could make a difference. He’s delivered some amazing memories and success but just ain’t working anymore and it’s time he left and the team got a refresh and new ideas.

paulrae5mo ago

I wish I didn't have to say this but YES it's definitely time for him to leave our club with a big thank you I've said this for months. He's lost now the cracks are opening wider and it's more obvious there's nothing he can do about it. Not to be to personal I've no idea what he's watching anymore but there's so much you could pull him up on.

It's not all the managers fault some decisions have been bad but the players need to look at themselves and have a good think how they are doing because 25 points thrown away isn't good enough they need a drastic clear out come the summer Eddie's a legend and deserves better from his players

Eddie will get it right.

Sacking Eddie Howe would be the worst thing ever for Newcastle utd everyone is hurting at the moment no more so than Eddie Howe he needs to get rid of his hangers on and bring new support in revenge will be memorable next season and players need to look at themselves and we need a massive clear out

jonathan.gorrie6mo ago

I don't disagree that much but I just feel like the whole thing has run out of steam. Howe is a legend and should be treated with respect but his recent signings have not worked out and he needs a huge hit-rate to make up for it

peter.lynch6mo ago

No point sacking him now... just wait til end of season IMO

jackgallagher6mo ago

Now is the time to go and get Iraola! Perfect manager to take Newcastle forward

gary.howe6mo ago

Much as it pains me to say it, I do think this is getting very near the end for him. And I thought that before the Barcelona and Sunderland matches. He's lost something and he can't get it back

jonathan.gorrie6mo ago

I agree. It's painful and it's not all his fault but hard to see how it gets back to how it was again

viasdemetriou6mo ago

A week ago we had just beat Chelsea and were on our way to Nou Camp to beat Barcelona. Now it’s the end of the road? The “End of an Era”? Because the lads are just fatigued having played nearly twice as many games as Sunderland? Everyone needs to gain some perspective and stop the drama. We win together and we lose together.

paulrae5mo ago

Mate it's not drama to watch your team underperform week after week to watch players struggle and be made to stay on til the 89th minute until Eddie decides to change it when the rest of the Geordie nation saw it before the kick off. Honestly the manager has to manage every game no matter what the last result was that's what's being questioned.

jonathan.gorrie6mo ago

To an extent I agree but nothing has convinced this season and we look short of ideas. Love Howe, he's a legend - but it's going stale and it just hasn't been good enough

bazzak576mo ago

This is his tean big money on poor players

syakir.zainol6mo ago

He has discovered his ceiling

jonathan.gorrie6mo ago

I agree! Sad it's ending this way - but surely no coming back?
