Mark Wood announces his retirement from international cricket - what was your favourite moment from his career?

Watched this guy growing up… was always fun as a kid to see what MPH he’d clock up!

Great player! 👏A well-deserved retirement. He’ll he missed.

It has to be his performance in the 2019 World Cup. 18 wickets, bowling the fastest ball, and lifting the trophy. Bet he would say the same too

That spell when he returned from injury in the Ashes was one of the fastest I had ever seen. Shame sbout the injuries, but hopefully Sky will continue with him as a pundit and he can be the next Bumble in the comms box!

Obliterating Usman Khawaja’s leg stump in the 2023 Ashes comes to mind 🔥

A very big Ashes player. Will be sorely missed.

One of the most exciting bowlers England has seen! But ultimately the injuries and emergence of Tongue and Baker have meant he’s no longer a consideration

Woody is one of my fave fast bowlers we’ve had in the squad and a breath of fresh air in cricket. Didn’t ever take things too seriously and in a sport often accused of being a bit too stubborn, having a personality like that is going to be a big miss

I remember him singing Jerusalem on his own when the players walked during Covid 😂

The Covid dance video obviously

Or when he was high as a kite in the hospital bed 😂

Such a shame that Mark won’t return to the international squad after his injury last year! Brilliant fast bowler and his personality is going to be really missed!
