Should tyre pressure penalties be scrapped from MotoGP?

There has to be a minimum tire pressure for safety, but the rules should be relaxed a bit. Tire pressure will vary depending on clean or dirty air the tires are exposed to, and other factors. The penalties are too strict in my opinion.

A 16-second penalty for tyre pressure is ridiculous, I don't care if they apply it unilaterally. It just makes no sense.
