Huge news, I haven’t seen this fanbase so united about a manager in yearrrrrs. Hopefully the signings follow now

Really good news - because of BBM’s style of football, his past with Man City and his record with young players, it’s inevitable clubs higher up the pyramid will be watching very closely A new deal gives Cardiff a bit of security And maybe an early advantage over Lincoln after they lost Skubala…

Solid move - couldn’t afford to lose him

Means little really. If they have a shocking start he’ll soon get the boot. All he’s really done here is ensure a nice payout if so.

Potentially massive for Cardiff. BBM has been so pivotal to their success in League One and could be the key to them surviving in the Championship. They’ve got some work to do for sure, but this is as big as any signing they could make this summer

Better than any transfer they could make this summer. Key bit of business

Spot on mate

Brilliant news for them. Nobody should be fooled that he's set for bigger and better things in the future but the longer they can keep such a key asset, the better it is for them.

Was there are doubt about him signing ? Surely he wants to step up and a decent season in the Championship will enable him to move to a bigger club if that’s what he wants in due course.

markmarston2mo ago

Burnley were in for him so yeah there was doubt earlier in the summer. Like any young manager, if they have a bit of success they very quickly appear on some big clubs’ shortlists

markmarston2mo ago

Well done to the club! Let’s be honest… it’s protecting an asset. He’ll be a wanted man so hopefully there’s a lofty release clause in his deal now

Will bigger clubs really be after him?
