Bristol City are another Championship club that are in mid-table, threading water. Having said that, a new CEO and Sporting Director have been appointed - what should the priorities be heading into 26/27

Same as ever - take the next step! Skubala is a very exciting, forward-thinking appointment It is a squad without much teeth going forward though, especially post-Mehmeti

Any championship club needs to be looking up rather than down. Playoffs

Play-off place!

Bristol City should be aiming for the play-offs at the very least. That comes down to smart recruitment and having the right people in each role.

Annoyance for the playoff regulars is where I expect them to be. Anything better will be a surprise. Vitek was immense last season and they'll miss him sorely. Their season would've been a lot worse without his heroics

They’ve made big changes but I think any kind of improvement would be a good first step. If they finish mid table again, there’s gonna be a lot of questions about what the vision is moving forward

Got to go for the top 8, surely?

First priority has to be turning the team from a ‘steady championship club’ into a genuine play-off contender. That means a clear recruitment strategy, smarter use of date and backing a long-term football identity. Fans will want progress, not another season of midtable comfort

Gotta be to be pushing for a playoff spot, especially with the increased teams! Skubala has a good record where he has been and can make teams challenge, so it’s a great appointment and there are a team to watch for sure!
