Talk Bristol City

I was optimistic for them as soon as Skubala was appointed! I just always worry about them running out of steam. Maybe knowing what top 8 means this year will help them

Think mid table, could just scrape play-offs if lucky

will.butcher61d ago

You just know they’ll start in promising fashion and fade off by March. Between 6th and 12th for me

jackgallagher61d ago

Mid table for me!

markmarston66d ago

I’ve heard he’s looked off the pace?

james.brooke61d ago

What is that kit, can barely see the badge

markmarston68d ago

Real shame… doesn’t look like Ballard will happen. Pepple at Plymouth would be decent… Warwham at Exeter?

Great video and hope it works out for them but that jump up is always a risk. Would love to see Bristol finally break the routine and push forward

Proven League One striker. Be interesting to see how he translates to Championship. They still need more though. Their ceiling is playoff hopefuls at best. The divisions will be brutal this season.

Cracking video 🤣🤣

Bristol have agreed a deal to sign Plymouth’s top scorer Lorent Tolaj - a medical will commence in the next 48 hours. Brad Collins has joined on a two-year deal after leaving Coventry. Joe Lumley has left for Sheffield Wednesday & Josh Stokes has signed for Reading. The Robins are in Spain at the moment ahead of a pre-season friendly against Stockport.

Despite the city residing in England, Bristol City actually won the Welsh Cup in 1934 when border teams were invited. The Robins have won the EFL Trophy a record-breaking three times (1986,2003 & 2015). They are also one of a few clubs who have an international derby. Their rivalry with Welsh outfit Cardiff City is called the Severnside Derby.

Gotta be first game of the season at Ashton Gate! Sunny day and three points please

My view is they never seem to have a reliable enough goalscorer I know it’s pretty simple to say, but a 20-goal striker would be the difference Since 2019, only Weimann has got more than 12 in a season

dantowen81951116d ago

One man’s boring is another’s consistent 😂say what you want about them but most clubs would kill for the sort of youth record Bristol city have

dantowen81951116d ago

Same as ever - take the next step! Skubala is a very exciting, forward-thinking appointment It is a squad without much teeth going forward though, especially post-Mehmeti

charlesjones120d ago

Any championship club needs to be looking up rather than down. Playoffs

caleb.sage120d ago

Play-off place!

dantowen81951116d ago

I like Skubala but, looking at the current squad, I think the bottom half is a realistic concern

charlesjones120d ago

Mid table. Same as always.

johnverrall11120d ago

Mid-table, as per usual

james.brooke125d ago

Tommy is a red 🔴

freddie120d ago

Specifically for Bristol, Alex Scott! So so good. Of course Semenyo was, and is, too!
