Our Championship predictions are out! Thoughts on where we've got Bolton? 👀

Survival should be the aim, and I think they’ll just about do it. Will be tight

Need some signing but I do like the gaffer - consolidation, anything between 12th and 18th is realistic, and a success

They’ll just about hang on thanks to Schumacher but that depends on who else they’ll sign in the coming weeks

Survival should be the expectation given their finances. David Watson from Kilmarnock is an excellent signing, the boy runs for days. He’s one to watch this season

Survival has to be the aim this season, obviously. Would be great if they could get Jonny Kenny back. Watson feels like one of the deals of the summer on a free

Bolton will be fine and stay up, just. Schumacher is a great manager and they’ve made some smart signings, but they could do with some more firepower and creativity. Surviving would be a success, and I reckon they’ve got just about enough to do it

I expect them to be down there in a relegation battle too, but something tells me they’ll just stay up. Think Schumacher should dip into the PL loan market before the window closes

Feels wrong to see Bolton out of the PL for so long, but can't see that changing any time soon. But as James said, Luca Stephenson could be an exciting addition

I really like Schumacher but can’t help but feel they need additions. Losing Burstow and Cozier-Duberry is a big loss and I’m not sure they’ve replaced them. It’s a big step up

Watch out for Luca Stephenson, signed from Liverpool this summer, could drive them higher than that by himself

So hard to call. I think they’ll be down there though. Plenty of time to go in the transfer window mind.

Bolton have a great manager in Steven Schumacher… with a bit more backing in the market, they could finish a lot higher than 21st tbh

After 7 seasons out of the Championship, success will be just surviving next season - and I think they will achieve that. There are concerns about getting new players in the door this month, but they have a good tactical manager in Steven Schumacher who should give the club an edge over other relegation-threatened clubs.
