Bolton fans will feel that the club in on the up, but the priority must surely be to stay in the Championship next season. What does the club need to do to ensure survival ?

Spend some serious money. Without Cozier-Duberry and to a lesser extent Burstow they have some big holes to fill. They do have a good amount of physicality though, which will aid them. I’m a big fan of Forino at the back. Also think Schumacher is a great manager

Bolton was my first away game. I’d like to see them back in the Premier League one day, but that’s completely out of the equation for the coming years IMO.

I’ve just had a quick look at Bolton’s data and one thing that stood out to me was how young the squad is… average age of 25.3 last season… one of the youngest in L1. So I think it’s important to focus on bringing in a few older heads to get a better blend in the champ where you need that bit extra know how and nouse to get over the line in games.

The main thing they MUST do is keep hold of Cozier-Duberry. A really talented player that will have a load of interest this summer. Keep hold of him and they already have a star player. A bit of shrewd recruitment around him and they could survive.
