I think it's the level of development itself, this season has to be a big wake up call for the American team that they simply can't rely on out-sourcing parts for their car. It must be developed in-house in order to synergise it with the rest of the package.

It seems obvious to say after Valtteri Bottas' radio, but it looks like Cadillac have a fundamental problem with their brakes as their calamities in Monaco have followed them to Barcelona.
