Should Adrian Newey's position be questioned if Aston Martin's upgrade doesn't work, or does he need more time?

Yes

Why? If Stroll will not at least give AN another year, he is crazy. He made an investment in Newey and he needs to see if it will pay off. The Honda decision may be the absolute worst decision AMR made.

His position as team principal should definitely be questioned, but not his employment. Newey could still flourish if he was 100% focused on the chassis.

Lawrence Stroll knows it would be foolish to consider sacking Adrian Newey...

Totally! Patience here is key! They've brought in a new designer and a new engine manufacturer, it's far too soon to be throwing that all out because it's not working!
