Adrian Newey can lead the Aston Martin team to build a better car, but it takes more than one person these days. His engineering and technical staff needs to be first rate, top to bottom. But that Honda PU may continue to be a detriment to the team.

He's called a genius for a reason. I mean Adrian Newey didnt forget how to design a car overnight. He will help fix the 2026 car but in reality next year's car will be the one to judge

Adrian has over come design problems before and within bringing in a bit spec car I believe that Aston Martin will start to show some progress, as well as being able to push towards next Yr car design

Can’t pretend to know everything that’s been happening internally. Given Newey’s reputation, something has gone seriously wrong. Owners interference, going too far on pressing the reset to start with a clean sheet? With Alonso’s passion and unwavering commitment (don’t know how he does it in such a low performing team) All the ingredients are there

It's certainly still possible, this weekend's Hungarian GP will be critical for Newey though. Any more failures and he's in serious danger.
