If Aston Martin decide to replace Adrian Newey as team principal, who should they sign?

apparently they have picked Jonathan Wheatley. I have no knowledge of the gardening leave requirements of his contract with Audi. Stroll should have kept Andy Cowell in the role! Seidel got handed his walking papers by Sauber/Audi. Why hire him??

I think Stroll did what he could to keep both Newey and Cowell given the power struggle between them. The solution wasn't ideal but it was better than losing one or the other

Jonathan Wheatley has done a good job since taking over Audi, given the concerns that were emerging before he took charge.

Lambiase might be a tough get, but it'd be a double-whammy. He'd help them almost instantly and he has an existing dynamic with Newey, who is leading the search for his replacement, meaning he'll likely still be with Aston Martin.

If they can get Wheatley it would be a huge coup, but Lambiase would be a brilliant signing as that might convince Max to move as well
