Which F1 team should Jack Doohan try to make his return with?

I like Jack Doohan, but I do not see him in F1. He would be very fortunate to land a deal with a WEC or an IMSA team.

Haas would make sense if Kondo would sign him for SF. But since that seems to be gone, I think Doohan is out of F1.

He probably needs another reserve role to try and get back in, maybe somewhere like Haas or Cadillac. However, I don't think he will return.

Now that we know that Colton Herta will not return to F2 in 2027, Cadillac does need and American name to throw around. They could support Ugo Ugochukwu while hiring Doohan as a test/reserve driver. The Aussie at least has driven a F1 car.

His most likely way back into the paddock is through a reserve role before potentially getting a full-time gig afterwards. Cadillac could prove fruitful in that regard, or maybe even Audi...

I think Haas makes the most sense, given the connections to Toyota. Cadillac is another shout, could make a new partnership with Herta when Bottas and Perez retire?
