It wouldn’t be the first time in history the World Cup faced issues of nations boycotting… - 1930 in Uruguay, European sides boycotted due to travel. - 1938 in France, Argentina and Uruguay boycotted due to Europe hosting consecutive tournaments - 1966 in England, All African nations withdrew in protest to FIFA only giving one spot to them+ Asia
