Seeing the chequered flag, tbh. Chantra was often a few seconds behind during his full-time days in MotoGP, so "im not holding out any hope that he will be able to score any points at Motegi.

Somkiat Chantra will not be expected to achieve a lot as he stands in for the unwell Joan Mir in Japan. So, should Chantra achieve anything, it would at least help to restore some of his reputation in the MotoGP paddock given his disappointing rookie season with LCR in 2025
