Nicolo Bulega is the 2026 WSBK champion! But how many MotoGP riders is he already BETTER than?

Bulega will be moving to the championship next year with VR46

"Better" wouldn't be the right way to put it. Technically, he has unfair testing time on the prototype which will be raced next year, to a point where it almost feels illegal and like a loophole in the rules which Ducati have exploited knowingly or unknowingly. If I was in charge I'd make a rule disallowing this! Its a no-brainer. Surprising nobody objected!

I think it was very smart from Ducati to be fair, but I don't want to hear rivals making excuses next year when they've had hundreds of testing miles themselves

In terms of riders he'll be up against next year, I'd take him ahead of Marini for sure and the current version of Moreira. I could be talked into Fernandez/Diggia/Bastianini too. Hard to put him ahead of any others yet.
