Jorge Martin wins the Austrian GP Sprint Race after Pedro Acosta's late crash - What did you make of the Sprint?

The recovery from 8th was phenomenal, and it’s good to see pump arm isn’t a factor right now. I thought Bez would be third. Marc looked pissed off; his expression on the podium and in the car could have seared steak. What’s with that?

Yeah, that demeanor was very rare. Maybe 3 things I can guess: 1. He was totally pissed by his tire choice and resulting outcome. 2. He encountered an issue during rhe race for which he himself or someone at the garage was responsible. 3. The fist gesture that Martin made towards him when he passed him just after the race. I'm not sure he saw it then.

Same. After the race I was left wondering if the arm issue may resurface in the longer format, time will tell but I hope not. Not sure if Marc was happy with the bike or tyre choice but he was decidedly abject wasn't he?

Quite the turnout for Martin and deserves all the plaudits after falling back to 8th place I think. The leveller for a few of them will be the longer format so really looking forward to that. Bagnaia suprised so might put in an appearance on Sunday?

Unreal from Martin, a real champion's performance despite it only being a Sprint race. Absolutely gutted for Acosta, though, even if the crash was entirely his fault.

1. Fantastic performance from Martin 2. Typical Acosta: knows how to get in front, doesn't know how to finish in front. In Motogp. 3. Marc looks like he's holding back. I think he doesn't fancy the hard carcass tyre. Doesn't trust it enough, maybe. 4. Bez doesn't seem to have the pace of the top 3. Excited to see how this all will pan out tomorrow!

Great race from Martin so he deservedly gets the box of chocolates. Acosta....... 'give me the bike & I'll give you results'. I've been critical in the past about what he says publicly so now he has to manage this statement. Gotta feel for him though & would have been a huge boost for him

What a fantastic performance from Jorge Martin to recover from his first lap incident with Marc Marquez, regardless of the fact that he only won because of Pedro Acosta's crash
