Today we say goodbye to one of our record goalscorers. Bobby Tambling, has died aged 84. We should celebrate him, what he achieved and I personally give my condolences to his family and friends at this time. RIP Bobby, 164 league goals (202 overall) is one hell of an achievement.

I think Josh has to improve his defending but that will come with experience. Head and shoulders above Fofana who should be sold. With Palestra to replace Gusto on the pitch we have 3 right sided players to cover each other. Assuming he stays fit and continues to learn, Josh could have a standout season

A player doesn't have to fit in the team's plans but has to fit in the coach's plans. So if Alonso says Acheampong is good enough to play for him then it means he is.
If people want to leave..but let those who stay ..reward them ..with guarantee start places in the 1st team ...people who spouted I'm leaving shove them out

Issue with that is what if players like Fofana only want to stay because they’re on big money they won’t get elsewhere
Question to Chelsea fans: do you expect Alonso to play a 4-3-3 system or go back to the 3-4-3 he had huge success with at Leverkusen? Chelsea have had success in a 3 at-the-back before!

Alonso said repeatedly he played 3ATB because it suited Leverkusen. Played 4 at Madrid. Think he'll go 3 because James would be great as a WB

Formations are not our problem at chelsea FC, what we want now is to revive our winning mentality, we want him to first talk to all the players and let them knows that they are good like any other teams, He should be allowed to handle the team, let gives him those players he may needs,

Honestly I don't think he'll stick to one formation, he's too canny for that. He'll do what Maresca did and switch depending on the type of opponent. If we do go with a back three I still want someone to possibly replace Wes. I'm still not convinced he's back to the player he was at Leicester. We have Levi and we have Trev we can trust, and Josh too.
As a life long Chelsea fan I wish him all the best. but Blueco's appointments and sackings speak for themslves, so the clock is now ticking as to how long the incompetents at the helm resort to their natural instincts and sack Alonso. When their time is up I will be a lot happier, they are disgraceful.....
