Best bit so far - English national anthem.

Glad it’s Rashford. Makes more sense than Gordon against a team who are going to sit deep

Feel like we're back to the same old conversations in midfield. Do we really need Anderson and Rice in there?

I’d have liked to see Mainoo here. I think we need someone who can between the lines and pick a pass

Should have more than enough to win this but not thrilled about 60 minutes of watching Rashford & Madueke 😴

England to win 3-1

I can’t believe we are staring Djed Spence in a World Cup knockout game

Delighted Rashford is starting. Thrives in an England shirt. About as good as it could have been. COME ON

Rashford will score 🙌🙌⚽️

Score prediction?

Could see Gordon doing some damage from the bench, will be keen to win his place back

On the face of it, we should have this in the bag right? But I struggle to have much confidence that we do anything without a bit of pain first 😮💨

Haha you would think so yeah but I can’t sit through a Panama repeat 😂

2-0 to DR Congo

Serious worry if England lose this one… no disrespect at all but their B Team should win it easily
chillout3mo ago
I thought this was the B team.

I hope Ivan Toney gets a chance to play. Good XI though.

Penalties incoming…

As expected. Marcus Rashford starting is a great call over headless Anthony Gordon, hopefully he can be the difference maker

3 - 1 England after falling behind to a shock early opener for Congo

How is saka benched?
gramorris3mo ago
Not fit, not in-form. I did wonder if he’d play him just to see if he could get in-form
callum_boyle3mo ago
No way he’s fit enough to play the full 90
vatsal3mo ago
Rashford starting. England have more of a chance now. RB remains a tragedy as always

If I’m the parent of a young footballer I’m telling them to train to be a left back or right back. Almost guaranteed an England spot
