As Jarrod Bowen has started to show signs of losing his pace, should Nuno consider playing him as a 10 or as a striker? Which would be his best position and why?

I wouldn’t mind seeing him as a striker again, particularly given the other options. Would allow Piroe in that 9.5 role he played well at Leeds

That’s what I’m thinking, I reckon they could play off each other really well. Ideally, I think we need to get Bowen in scoring positions as much as we possibly can

We have the option to shift Solomon to the right and play Austbo on the left if needed - interesting that both of Bowen’s goals at Bolton came when he drifted into a more central role

Other teams are committing 2 or 3 players to mark him surely the creates opportunities elsewhere for us, let him do what he does best he is still a top player

I think part of the issue is that KWP and Veltman are not exactly flying full-backs - which means Bowen doesn’t often have an overlapper making space for him
