No chance at all. Well he's got a puncher's chance in the first round. But let's look at it this way. He lost four of his last seven fights. He notoriously gassed out from every one of his fights that he did knock the guy out in the first round and he's been inactive for 5 years and nobody seeing him with this new leg. Max has been active at the highest lvl

Connor is 1-3 since he beat Alvarez and 1-4 if you count floyd lol, his big mouth and ability to rehydrate with an iv made him famous beating smaller men, hes got no cardio and hes facing max whos a cardio machine and only 32 years old. Hes gonna get beat badly

Max is washed and Conor is much bigger with serious power. Definitely a minimal chance, but only within a couple of minutes.

Max will win but it probably won’t be as smooth as people expect. Moving to 170 will require some adjustment and the longer it goes on and becomes scrappier, the more that will suit McGregor. If Max is able to land quickly, it’s done in a couple of rounds

That's crazy.. All a 170 match means to Max is that he won't have to cut. It will be zero adjustment. He'll be smoother, faster and stronger while Mac looks to land the big one before gassing in the 2nd round.

I give him a chance but not a very big one. I just struggle to see how he keeps up with Max's output if Holloway can get through the first round

Of course he does, otherwise the ufc wouldn't have made this fight. Holloway is a featherweight, sure he has fought at lightweight but he's never had problems making 145. To face Conor at 170 is a bit unfair, but why risk Conor loosing. It's like his last come back against Cowboy. Looks good on paper but isn't really competitive.

The UFC have flirted in the past with matching him against Rakhmonov or Prates. There were talks of both. I think they now see Conor as a way to boost someone up as a star, not giving him winnable fights. The Chandler fight was much more winnable and they weren't interested.

This is a lot more competitive than the Cowboy fight. 5 of Holloway’s last 8 fights (the amount he’s had since Conor last fought) have been for a title.

His gas tank will let him down. Holloway is good enough to avoid being KO’d early and then he’ll control the fight with ease

The interesting part about that is that this will be Max’s first fight at 170lbs, so it’s hard to say how well he will carry that weight past 3 rounds. I don’t know if I’d expect it to go past 3 regardless of who wins. Max could get a standing stoppage by just overwhelming a gassed Conor after 2 rounds.

I actually don’t think it’s as bad a matchup for Conor as people are saying. Favours him at 170lbs and Max is a volume puncher, not a big hitter. I think it’s closer than people think.
