Why can’t Zahabi get a shot? He’s on a 7-fight win streak and is the only deserving or semi-deserving guy who hasn’t fought for the strap.

Sadly people like Zahabi will always have to do double what others do to get a title shot in the UFC. It's like the Tsarukyan issue times a thousand. Could ask 100,000 UFC fans who they want to see fight for a title in 2026 and not one will say Zahabi

You're totally right that he's in the frame but isn't being spoken about. I think he needs a win over one of the top names to get it. Got a suspicion that he's fighting Sandhagen next which is the perfect step for him.

Yan vs O’Malley is the fight. Merab is a legend but he just lost very clearly. Not every losing champ deserves an immediate rematch.

I really want to see O'Malley vs Yan 2. That being said, he would've needed a crazy KO to make an argument that it's not Yan vs Merab 3 next.
