What's your thoughts on Paddy Pimblett after UFC 324?
'The Baddy' showed tons of heart during his five-round war with Justin Gaethje.

Well after punching Justins fist with his face and not backing up anything he said was gonna do. I give it an F, who cares he can take a punch. I’m sure his brain wouldn’t agree

Paddy is what i thought he was. A top 7 to 12 fighter. He'll fight for titles because the UFC needs English stars but he'll never beat the elite at 155

I've been saying it from the beginning. Paddy the Punching Bag. He's an average fighter at best. He ran into a fighter who didn't punch himself out and didn't allow PTPB to get on his back. I'd LOVE to see Pimblett fight Max next. Stay with the big boys.... no more fighters on Medicare.

Paddy did not look like an elite fighter at all. Worrying signs, especially against an ageing lightweight who is past his prime.

Maybe if Max loses the BMF belt next month but I don't think they'll give Paddy someone that high.

His downfall begins now..
mike12yankees8mo ago
That would be have to say because now everyone above him has seen what he lacks and will use it against him. He's time is up..
jordan.ellis8mo ago
If you were matching him to get back on track who would you pick?
toddrivait8mo ago
Honesty he can’t punch properly to save his life and his defense is horrible !!!
harvey.leonard8mo ago
The punches were very questionable...
jordan.ellis8mo ago
Tough though.

Gaethje is fighting for his life and legacy at this point in his career. His desire to win was more powerful than Paddy's efforts. Glad to see him come out on top...
jordan.ellis8mo ago
It was crazy he was underdog after everything he's achieved.

I love Paddy, and i believe he will become the champion, if not by the end of this year, it will be next year, i think if Olivera beats Max, and they give the chance to Paddy to fight him, he will be back in the title picture. am confident that he will learn from this loss, and he proved that he is a real fighter, getting eye poked twice!!
harvey.leonard8mo ago
Hard to see him getting back to the title this year. I imagine the UFC won't rush him into fights against Ilia or Arman anytime soon either
jamie.theodosi8mo ago
Do you really think Paddy would beat both Oliveira and Holloway after his performance against Gaethje? I think both of those fights go worse for him...
kindelicato8mo ago
Josh Barnett, God bless him, should perhaps remain silent on the subject of fights that involve actual striking.
harvey.leonard8mo ago
I understand people saying the quality and technique was not great, but he went way overboard with his comments.
roocroftsara8mo ago
Two eye pokes, one missed by the ref, and a knee to the balls. Only cheaters fight with their fingers out!
jordan.ellis8mo ago
And Paddy didn't complain once. Proper warrior.

I perceive "Dana White bit off,..more than Paddy could chew."
jordan.ellis8mo ago
Paddy competed well. Not like he got smoked. Good matchmaking maybe just shouldn’t have been for a belt.
anita.shane8mo ago
He tried his best and will be better next time
harvey.leonard8mo ago
Exactly. Gaethje said it best when he compared this result for Pimblett to his loss against Eddie Alvarez. Will only learn from it and improve
daniel.royale.dbs8mo ago
Had he won in another quick fashion would be just more of the same. But no. Now he showed us his other side. He took a imense amount of punishment, kept fighting till the last second, was very gracious in defeat, and proved he doesnt get knocked out. I think he gained a lot of fans and didnt lose a single one
harvey.leonard8mo ago
For sure. Better to lose in a way he will learn from than get caught and not be able to see what changes he needs to make
kyle.dimond8mo ago
Agreed! He probably gained as much stock in defeat as possible
jamie.theodosi8mo ago
My thoughts are he is tough as nails! But I don't think he becomes a champion...
kyle.dimond8mo ago
Earned a lot of credit in defeat in what was a big step up in opposition. May have lost but his growth in the UFC has been staggering nonetheless
harvey.leonard8mo ago
Toughness personified. But a lot of work to do if he wants to beat the best of the best.
jordan.ellis8mo ago
Now everyone believes Scousers don't get knocked out!
