Is the UFC 324 main event a mistmatch?

One TalkingPoints user thinks Justin Gaethje will run through Paddy Pimblett.

Still waiting for the day that someone pummels Paddy.... Is this the day?

I think you'll get that on the day he shares the cage with Ilia Topuria

nope i doubt there's ever been a mismatched fighters and if so for sure that's what Campbells will be always looking for to keep the fans on the edges of their seats; if it's a mismatch then this one is nteresting and I think the pressure is more on pimblett to prove his not getting favours let's go!!!

Justin has good takedown defense and thats Paddy's strongest part of his attack but he might have been putting in training for a stand up, he might confuse Justin although i think Justin is the harder fighter, punches harder but takes a few incoming to get the good one to connect so if Paddy can use that to his advantage then we could see a very interesting

Justin will win. But he better not get to overconfident or paddy might explode

What's the biggest danger if Justin gets overconfident? I don't see much trouble on the feet but Paddy is a menace on the mat

I wouldn't say it's a mismatch tbh. Gaethje has been in several wars over the years and has never been regarded as extremely technical on the feet or ground. Paddy the more technical fighter of the two actually, so not a mismatch imo.

Don't think we've seen Pimblett face enough elite competition in the UFC to suggest someone like Gaethje would be outmatched. But saying that, it wouldn't shock me if he wins quick and proves that it was a mismatch

I think the funny haircut and unique accent makes fans blind to what Paddy has been doing lately. Guy is legit and will be competitive win or lose at UFC 324

I don't think so. Both men are very dangerous in different ways so I'm not surprised to see a lot of early finish picks
