How can Tyler Dibling actually turn things around at Everton? 🤷♂️
It's going to need some turnaround from the youngster 😫
alangaston1782mo ago
sack moyes and give Dibbling a chance
tom.procter2mo ago
He would surely see more minutes if that happened! Which it won't...
alangaston1783mo ago
let the kid play
brogan3mo ago
Only way he's gonna actually improve, Alan.
ianhunter6304mo ago
Actually be allowed to play
tom.procter4mo ago
Think his camp will work overtime to get him out on some kind of basis this summer. I reckon he'll be loaned out
brogan4mo ago
Can you see him changing Moyes' mind over the summer? I still struggle to see a world where he plays under Moyes
hiltondavid7425mo ago
Give the lad more game time not give him last 5 minutes he obviously has a lot of talent as he is in the england u21 side and they think a lot of him
brogan5mo ago
Like I said to Anthony just above, think now it's about Tyler just getting himself ready for pre-season where he then needs to show what he's actually about
anthonymanley19565mo ago
Work hard and keep your head down do t no if theres a bit of attitude problem at everton but under 21 at england say hes a great lad with a great attitude but moyes seems to be on his case alot
jonathan.bevan51mo ago
Think that is the big problem...probably 🤔 did or said something stupid and Moyes took a dislike..all this transfer speculation, just get rid of Moyes/ staff too old school
brogan5mo ago
Big pre-season ahead for him. He has to work hard this summer as it does sound as if Moyes is willing to give him his opportunity then
hiltondavid7425mo ago
Needs strength training
tom.procter5mo ago
Yeah think improving his physicality could help. Think above all else though he really needs to relish the challenge of getting in that team and staying there. Not really been getting that impression from him
mark333stevens5mo ago
Passion, fight and loyalty. He has been underwhelming when given the chance and looks like he's failed to integrate with other players in training. Being unhappy isn't an excuse not to try
ajmiller17th5mo ago
What chance?? A few minutes, if Moyes shows no faith or confidence in youngsters then how the hell are they supposed to build confidence??
tom.procter5mo ago
Assuming there's no real change from now until the end of the season, what would you do with him this summer Mark? Keep, loan, sell?
peterswanson075mo ago
Don't believe everything you read, Moyes has said he wants him to have a pre season before introducing him, look at what is being built, George, Dibling, Armstrong, England under 21 midfield.
jonathan.bevan51mo ago
Still don’t see a goalscorer tho.
ajmiller17th5mo ago
Speaking of Armstrong, Moyes went off him after refusing to let him return to PNE,then dropped him super fast.
freemanalbert3315mo ago
Show some enthusiasm he looks like he wants away. And plays like it.
mark.marston5mo ago
He needs a loan... looks shot of belief under Moyes
brogan5mo ago
He doesn't look like a player who played a full season of PL football for Saints last year. Needs to be a massive turnaround to see him starting games
peterswanson076mo ago
Moyes has already told him, he is in the plans, he will have a good pre season then be a regular starter
brogan6mo ago
Pre-season is gonna be massive for him. Wonder how hard he's been working behind the scenes to build on his physicality too
kevink406mo ago
He is in a very difficult position. He wont get into the first team, this season. Moysie wants us to get into Europe, so he wont play anybody, he doesnt think, will add to the side. His best option, is to bring his best game into the pre season and if thats not good enough, he needs to go out on loan elsewhere.
ajmiller17th5mo ago
Yet he plays McNeil all the time?? Explain. That one away?? Dibling would be a lot better than McNeil, hell Siblings great grandad would be better than McNeil, so why does Moyes constantly select him??
mark.marston6mo ago
I think Moyes is reluctant to use young players in the run-in. Reckon Dibling will get a lot more chances next season
stegriffin6mo ago
Cheeky Baaastard. Paul Tait works for Everton, produces no players at all and Dibling would be a world beater at that level. U21 football is only about developing players, not winning games. Hopefully Paul Taits days are numbered.
georgeratclife6mo ago
Keep the faith in yourself Tyler keep working hard in training, try and be patient you have everything we want in a player and your time when it comes grab by the scruff of its neck and shine young man
seanbennett4986mo ago
We probably could of signed him for alot less than we paid if we had loaned him to saints for season covering his wages. Only way TD has a impact is playing regular
brogan6mo ago
This is a great point, Sean! Would have been a great option and I think Championship minutes would have been perfect for him as they were for Harrison Armstrong
padraigjoe576mo ago
Sadly the 3 young lads won't get a look in this season. DM is fixated on getting into Europe. It remains to be seen if that's a good thing, even if it happens. It would be difficult to dislodge experienced players. They need to get their heads down and have a good preseason and show what they are really made of. They have the talent, so do it lads.
brogan6mo ago
I suppose the worry is how much difference will a good pre-season realistically make with DM. I'm playing devil's advocate of course, but I just cannot see Dibling getting much more of an opportunity next season
moeratanwar687mo ago
He might turn his car around and get out of there. We never took care of him. He should play for the under 21 team
brogan7mo ago
The U21s is a good shout. Kingsford Boakye has been playing well at right wing for the U21s, but you have to prioritise the development of your £40m signing. Had there not been so many absences he probably should have been sent out on loan in Jan
john.hill.nz17mo ago
ughuguThis is such a silly article. We have no idea how these two players perform in training. Dibling when he has had a chance has not shown he is ready yet. And the other Aznou, well he looks very lightweight at the moment. I am big believe in if your good enough youre old enough. Neither of these guys in the glimpses, do not look ready yet.
brogan7mo ago
Fully agree on Dibling. Like I said to Pete above, Aznou looked lively against Sunderland in the cup. Whether you value his cameo appearance or not, there was a lot of desire shown from the youngster (which Dibling has not) it just feels odd that he can't even get into the squad
pete.amb7mo ago
IMO, Moyes is not a stupid manager. He sees dibling ,aznou, etc on the training ground competing against PL players/defenders that are physically hard to beat. Sibling particularly is light weight. He needs to develop more physical prowess. Even Beto struggles with physical contact. Moyes will play them when he sees they are tough enough.
brogan7mo ago
I think the frustration stems from seeing Aznou come on and make an impact against Sunderland in the cup. Dibling hasn't shown anything when handed a chance, but Aznou looked like a real live wire. Maybe he would be handed a chance and do nothing, but it is frustrating to see players signed that Moyes must have known are not ready
hiltondavid7427mo ago
He needs to be in the team from the start he is a good player who needs playing time
brogan7mo ago
Who'd you be starting him instead of though?
williamsdave9597mo ago
Yeah think so if he gets a fair run of games
hiltondavid7427mo ago
He needs to work hard with his trainers and improve his strength and perhaps he will get in the side next season
brogan7mo ago
You'd hope he's working hard outside of training to do this too. Just turned 20 so there's no major rush but at £40m it is frustrating for the fans
williamsdave9597mo ago
He needs more game time he's not going to build up any confidence sitting on the bench give the lad a chance he's definitely got talent?
brogan7mo ago
Confidence the issue for sure. Sounds like Moyes wants him to start from fresh over the summer
anthonymanley19567mo ago
The money this club has wasted on players is a disgrace its a badly run club
grantwilliam2817mo ago
Shut up u muppet
barbaramurray19677mo ago
Why does David moyes sign these players. And then stick them on the bench and never playes them. Because there never going to get primary league experience.
mark.marston7mo ago
Yep - same issue with Aznou and Rohl. It seems any new signing has to come in and hit the ground running instantly else they don't get a kick...
moeratanwar687mo ago
He can get in his car and leave. Moyes don't fancy him
