← Tyler Dibling

Did Everton make a massive mistake in signing Tyler Dibling? 🫣

He's really struggling on Merseyside! ❌

scott.shalani3mo ago

No they made a HUGE mistake bringing that Negative neanderthal Scottish clown manager back ???? Dibbling only guilty of signing contract ? Scottish 🔔 end brought him & he's 100trillion times better than Dwight Mcneil ?????

hiltondavid7425mo ago

No you need good youngsters who will improve with the right training

brogan5mo ago

You confident that Everton have that at the club to turn him around?

confirmme745mo ago

He has to do more to show Moyes he's a better option than Mcneil or George. Mistake its early to say that for me but given are midfield is up there with any in the Country when all fit it was never going to be easy. Price tag mean nothing performances do.

brogan5mo ago

Although I do agree he needs to take his opportunity, but surely Dibling or George would have done better than McNeil in recent weeks?

phloey5mo ago

Put him out on loan, a league or two lower to get more game time. Then make a decision.

brogan5mo ago

I think a loan to the Championship might be best for him. If Saints don't come back up then maybe return him there for a season?

karl.traynor.575mo ago

Yes

brogan5mo ago

Would you sell him or give him time and maybe even loan him out?

msw17015mo ago

When he’s played, teams have doubled up on him. Overlapping fullback would have helped enormously, giving him more freedom. Thus far, not seen anything from him to justify a £20m outlay, never mind £40m. Seems fed up, which doesn’t chime well with fans, who would have sweated blood to pull on the shirt. Needs o/l fullback, or to be sold if not. 🔵💙IYKYH

brogan5mo ago

Solid point on the full-back. He does love to chop inside, which would then create the space on the flank for an overlapping right-back

williamallwright5mo ago

No, moyes is a nightmare when it comes to young players unless they are different class from the get go, lad hasn’t helped himself but he needs a run of games, guidance from a senior and maybe even a loan but I still think he will come good, big price tag for a young unproven player and the pressure has got to him

brogan5mo ago

Think that's more than fair, to be honest. What level would you send him out on loan to if you could decide?

philiplewis15mo ago

On the face of it, we look to have made a big mistake signing him. His loan spell at Chelsea was unsuccessful due to homesickness, it may well be the same case with us. We all know about physical maturity, however mental maturity is equally important. But I'm prepared to give him a little more time, at least until he has several games under his belt.

brogan5mo ago

I just don't see him suddenly clicking with a run in the side. I want to say a loan would be good for him, but I'm not even sure he would make the most of that?

peterswanson077mo ago

Moyes is the problem, not Tyler, young yeah sure, but him ,Adam and Merlin should be getting more game time, Moyes playing people out of position is Everyone's biggest problem ,

pwb.fuller7mo ago

Far too early to judge whether a £40M investment was successful or not. I think people are missing the point. It'd have been great if he was a star from day one, but it wasnt expected. He needs more mins, but isnt going to get them just for his own development. So he sparks into some action or is patient.

billyashworth117mo ago

Yes a big mistake, i dont think dibling wanted to play for Everton, i dont think his heart is in it

kennethsteed597mo ago

He need to play not sitting on the bench why did Everton buy him

justinwilliambarnes7mo ago

Because he is young and has a high ceiling. I don't understand why people want to rush him in instead of be patient and develop him.

brogan7mo ago

Really bizarre. A number of players who have been signed under Moyes who he just holds no trust in

williamsdave9597mo ago

No needs games under his belt

brogan7mo ago

Just worry that it would take an injury to Ndiaye for that to happen

kevink407mo ago

He may or not be a mistake. He clearly isntvready for the PL. He does need games, so needs to go out on loan.

brogan7mo ago

What level would you send him out to? Championship surely the best option for him

alwynjo18787mo ago

I had bags of talent. Could read the game, skillful & quick. What stopped myself progressing. Like Dibling I was far to quiet and reserved. He should be getting help to bring him out of himself. Who knows he may be getting it. But time moves so quickly. If the penny doesn't drop, he could just be left behind. Something I regretted for years.

joseph.quinn27mo ago

He looks to be in awe of other players at the club, totally lacking in confidence

brogan7mo ago

Almost makes a loan look like his only option

anthonymanley19567mo ago

He hasnt set the world on fire but you dont become a bad player overnight looked a good sighning just hasnt happend yet

brogan7mo ago

Definitely don't become a bad player overnight, but I do wonder whether Southampton's ridiculous £100m valuation completely over-hyped him

bobthecooldude597mo ago

Yes a complete waste of money. He is not being played as he has shown absolutely nothing.Very one footed and a one trick pony. But saying that I would like to see him play as a number 10.He seems so easy to mark playing as a winger. But I really do hope he improves.Seems a very quiet shy lad who needs alot of encouragement. Its not his fault we were ripped off.

brogan7mo ago

I think the only time I thought he's showed something was the first half of the game at Burnley. But that's just not enough

peakedward07mo ago

When bought potential players before i e stones branthwait we never wasted the money like now

kevink407mo ago

Personally,I am not convinced. Nobody remembered him playing for Southampton. He may have looked good in a very poor side. He is young and could develop into a valued player. For me, he needs game time, but out on loan.

dantowen819515mo ago

That is what worries me. Him purely being fearless and dynamic meant he stood out a mile at Southampton

revkoolman7mo ago

about tyoba woH . notrDibling was brought in with a lot of hype and expectation. And a large purchase price btw. He's not a luxury car that can be tinkered with by a mechanic. He's a young man, barely. We have put the same pressure on young stars over here in the US. Maybe find out from Christen Pulisic how he overcame the pressure. Or London Donovan who h

brogan7mo ago

What do you think is the best way to handle him from now on? Chuck him into the side or consider a loan to build up his confidence?

billyevans4ll652lj7mo ago

Why pay 40 odd mil for a 19 year old...I'm sure we have players in our U21 team that are better than him ..?

ptrckbennett7mo ago

A "HUGE" waste of money given the alternative players we could have and should have brought in!

efcmarko187mo ago

Ye like Tom Fellows off WBA at half the price but I agree we've bought him he's a kid giv him time prob missin home

brogan7mo ago

Zero minutes today after THOSE comments from Moyes. It isn't a good sign

ajmiller17th7mo ago

No, he could be exceptional for us if Moyes would only give him some real playing time instead of putting loads of pressure on him when sending onto pitch for ten or so minutes, how the hell is he supposed to get real feel for being team player when he barely given a chance. Moyes can b idiot!!

origiskaus7mo ago

Quite right. Reports suggest that in training he is hardworking and clearly talented. He is also quiet and probably overawed by the environment and the expectations that others have of him. If Everton are to get the best out of him, a loan to somewhere with a more paternalistic and laid-back manager than Moyes has to be the obvious solution.

brogan7mo ago

Moyes certainly has to do better in this situation, for me. Not doubting his comments on wanting more from the player, but he has to do more and get him going

jamieclancy19847mo ago

He's a kid. Long way to go BUT he's gotta start doing the business sooner or later...

brogan7mo ago

Definitely, Jamie! I was calling for patience in his early months at the club, but I thought we would have seen more by now...

peterswanson19717mo ago

No, give the kid time. He will be amazing for the blues

stevecrompton107mo ago

Sorry can't agree with all this he's young and learning rubbish. He's not started on apprentice wages. Do the job your paid to do or get sacked. Same with our 2 strikers.

brogan7mo ago

I hope you're right. My worry is where is he going to find enough minutes to get back to the player Everton thought they were buying from Southampton?
