It's really not a big deal. I don't think Brunson gives a crap, and the league is gonna go for the most marketable names not the best player necessarily

Shamet was the better offensive option, BUT the Knicks were never gonna find a decent backup center for that price

No. Sorry but that eastern conference was a cakewalk, they're one of the less impressive ones for me even this century, not that they weren't fun to watch but not an all-time team

Probably not popular saying its an over reaction given that they just one. But i'd say pump the breaks a bit. But at the same time its not fair to expect them to repeat since their hasn't been any repeat champions for awhile now

I still think they need to repeat to get all-time respect. Nobody has been able to do that over the past eight years. As a result none of the title teams truly stand out as great

Let’s not get carried away. It was a great performance but it’s not top 5. Giannis Game 6 vs Suns, LeBron Game 6 vs Warriors in 2016, LeBron Game 1 vs Warriors in 2018 (I know they lost), when Magic Johnson played center vs the 76ers… that’s without mentioning any MJ games

Great season and great playoff run. Convinced they don’t win it if Spurs held that lead in game 4 though. Complete turning point. Can’t see the Knicks building any sort of dynasty though, Spurs will come again, fantastic young team if they can add an experienced forward to help Wemby they will be unstoppable.

Thought Wemby set the tone by getting to the rim early and San Antonio finally showed composure in the clutch. Feel like this series was never going to be a sweep given how good the Spurs are

You can't have Shamet going 1/7 from downtown. Some of those looks need to go to Anunonby who was super efficient, and as as Towns. He only took 10 shots last night. Not enough.

The poise of this Knicks team sets them apart from the Spurs, more than anything else. I don't think that's something that changes during a series

Disagree, this Knicks team hasn’t been pushed a lot these playoffs outside of Game 1 vs the Cavs and the Atlanta series. Today they tried to fight but the Spurs iced it out

I'm not writing off Wemby this easy. Game 2 told me it's just lack of experience. Some turnovers were brutal from them. Knicks are favs for sure but I wouldn't be surprised if this goes to 7 still

For sure. Do you think the Knicks will try to be as physical as the Thunder were with Wemby? KAT is not that guy, and the wouldn't want to risk him being in foul trouble. Mayne Robinson is asked to do that?

Even if they lose to the Spurs, he did an outstanding job this year. Will be an interesting matchup because each team has their stars, but they are both balanced. A number of different players on each team can carry them on a given night
