Spurs have spent a huge amount of money, and appear to have made little progress. Two defeats and the pressure is already on. How do you see this all playing out ?

james.brooke4w ago

They will get better, but Europa League is the ceiling for them. Invested loads of money in fairly average players. Would be amazed if they are in the battle for Champions League places

george.patten4w ago

I think they’ll be mid table, whether that will keep De Zerbi in the job with the money they’ve spent, I’m not sure

markmarston4w ago

That style of play takes time, a lot longer than counter-attacking footy. Spurs will be fine. They’ll get top six.

jonathan.gorrie4w ago

They will get better, there’s too many good and experienced players. Just don’t see them being good enough for too 4/5, which is a disappointment given all they have spent

david.comerford4w ago

We should give it a bit more time. If they're still struggling when the revamped squad should have gelled, then I'll be revising my top-seven prediction

peter.lynch4w ago

Same old spurs by the looks of it! 😬 I really thought the signings and the manager could turn things around, but wow they look bad… plenty of time to fix things though, and no Europe is massive

tom.procter4w ago

I can see things continuing to be rocky for Spurs after so much change. We’ll see if De Zerbi can weather the early storm. I’m not convinced he’ll be in the hot seat for long

caleb.sage4w ago

If this doesn’t end with De Zerbi exploding before walking out, I would be surprised. With that being said, he’s been backed in the transfer market and is a good coach. Things have to improve, surely?

matthew.johns4w ago

I think I was tricked into thinking these big money signings would completely turn things around for Spurs, but that does not appear to be the case at all! Unless something changes quickly I cannot see De Zerbi as manager st the end of the season…

chillout4w ago

I think he is likely to implode well before the end of the season unless things pick up. But I’m not sure how many more managers or how many more new players the club can keep bringing in. It seems to be that there is something systematically wrong at the clue. It’s almost like it’s whole DNA has changed.

johnverrall114w ago

Convinced it’ll improve. The Newcastle game was better than Brentford. The squad is looking really good. Once better players get match fit, I think top six should be on

aaditya.krishnamurthy4w ago

I think Spurs fans underestimated just how dire the situation is. A new manager and some big money signings are like a coat of paint - even if its the best paint in the world, it takes time to dry. I think they’ll eventually make a push for the Europa League spots but right now, they’re going to have to endure the growing pains under De Zerbi
