An unbeaten pre-season (but opponents weren’t top class), Moore, Tel, Fernandes and Grey impressing, too many goals still being leaked, but De Zerbi getting his team to buy into his press-bait build-up and aggressive counter-pressing philosophy. Early days, but the squad appears to be enjoying their football again. Looks promising. Fans gotta be happy.

100% finishing 8th or higher, wouldn’t be surprised at like 5th tbh. Solid defence, could do with a proper ST tho!

After how atrocious the last two years have been, I’m not going to be too optimistic about Spurs just yet. Good start but preseason isn’t much of an indicator of how well they do. I think by GW10 we’ll know exactly where they stand compared to the best of the best

Great opportunity for Spurs this year. No one to really fear with City, Liverpool and Chelsea all in a period of transition. Arsenal are going to struggle to go again. Not saying Spurs will win the title, but I reckon they could make a decent charge

Be very surprised if De Zerbi doesn’t guide Spurs back into Europe this season… Top top manager. My only concern is whether they’ll be good enough defensively to really challenge at the top end

I think Spurs will have a good season. Contenders for CL football if there’s no implosion, which you can’t guarantee with Spurs! But still, vast improvement compared to last two seasons I’m expecting.

De Zerbi proving to be a brilliant appointment. He’ll get the best out of them, but they still need reinforcements in attack. Osimhen would be fantastic
