Are you surprised by the impact made by Xaver Schlager? Especially considering he cost nothing!

Not surprised at all. Some of Forests best aquasitions of the season have been free transfers. Aurier was brilliant the season we signed him and then Aina after. The least said about Lingard the better though. Not all hits but this is a great signing. This is what we needed Fruler to be. Sangare has his work cut out for him now in the middle of the park.

Yes very surprised didn’t think he would make an impact like he has done. Must be one of the first names on the match day squad

In a window where so much money was spent by so many clubs it’s refreshing to see a free signing making a solid impact. Schlager looks a great player!
