The verdict is in! What do you make of the Clippers' punishment for the Kawhi Leonard investigation? 🤯

walkercharlie8283w ago

The money is nothing to Ballmer, although the suspension will sting. Draft picks is very severe and rightly so, but surely Kawhi must miss games and have to pay back more than that. He's the real winner here

I believed Leonard should've been suspended for games not just a fine... Leonard & his Uncle were the ones asking for these payments....

Those draft picks could kill em!

Absolutely deserved in my opinion

aaditya.krishnamurthy4w ago

I’m shocked that Adam Silver actually made this decision given how much softer he’s been on infractions compared to David Stern. Completely deserved and couldn’t happen to a more deserving franchise!

Pablo Torre has done some of the best investigative journalism I've ever seen on this. With that info out in the open, there was no way the NBA could be lenient

Serves them right and will make any other team think twice in the future! Shame the WNBA don’t act in the same manner

dancoombs4w ago

Is it deserved? Yes Does it kill the Clippers for the next few years? Yes They have been punished enough by trading SGA 😂

jamesshearman234w ago

Love it! FIVE first-round picks will ensure nobody does this ever again

aikansh4w ago

I’d still say they deserved more, kawhi should have gotten is contract voided!!

vatsal4w ago

That Paul George trade is the worst trade in NBA history now. 10 first round picks, 30m fine, owner suspension, and no title to show for it

ishaan.bhattacharya4w ago

*WWE chant style* YOU DESERVE IT 👏👏👏👏👏

george.patten4w ago

Personally like to see punishments that aren’t just financial. Feel like they’re greater deterrents, so I’m ok board with this

kyle.archer4w ago

Now that is a PUNISHMENT! Some other leagues around the world could take note, rather than issuing irrelevant fines...
