Takehiro Tomiyasu signs! 🇯🇵

We need some creativity with goals from midfield. If Sarr or Mateta can’t score we offer absolutely zero when it comes to goals from the rest of the players on the pitch. A CAM and a strong experienced CB who can command the defence are a minimum for what we still need to add. We’ve way too many right sided forwards now, we need those with a left foot.

If he stays fit it’s fine but it’s a massive if - still, some younger additions are needed

Great to see him back in the Prem, just really hope he can stay fit

Solid signing but after losing several key defenders, they need some players with more consistency I think. Tomiyasu could be great for versatility but he won’t always be there

Tomiyasu would be some signing if they can get him fit, probably need another CB though. A big-money one to really trey and replace Guehi

Good signing and solid if stays fit. Versatility will help massively with Europa League!

Don’t see the appeal of Tomiyasu, Palace should be aiming higher unless Parish isn’t planning on challenging for more honours

good signing imo, always rated him at the Emirates and thought it was a shame he didn’t get the time to excel

I think they are still short a first-choice center-back, an attacking winger and need to beef up central midfield.

A great addition… IF he can stay fit. One Arsenal fan told WAP recently that Tomiyasu was one of Arteta’s best signings for Arsenal, which is some statement… 😳
