We are having defesive issues. We have two players who are young and hungry, like fighters bursting on to the scene, agressive and capable. Tayo and Anselmino should be given a shot in place of Colwill. Colwill is established, comfortable, even complacent in his view of his own value and position, he isn't hungry anymore. Tayo and Anselmino are.

Everyone was assuming this season our defence would be perfect because we sold or released Chalobah, Badiashile etc. It isn’t. Colwill and Fofana aren’t the answer. Acheampong needs time and experience alongside Lacroix and Hato. Colwill may or may not get his mojo back. Hopefully he will if he’s eased back in gradually. Fofana should be sold or loaned out.

Drop him. Play Hato at LCB and Chavarria at LWB. Hato made that terrible mistake vs Hull but he’s generally been very good in 2026
